In the gardens you will be able to enjoy one of the finest displays of more than 5,000 roses. We arrive at the 4* Crowne Plaza Felbridge in time for dinner.

Beyond the formal Garden, visitors can explore the historic Woodland, the South Park with tranquil lakes, and enjoy outstanding views across the Sussex High Weald. This afternoon we visit Wakehurst: Kew's wild botanical garden. Discover beautiful ornamental gardens, temperate woodlands, striking valleys, vast meadows and wetlands, as well as a nature reserve teeming with wildlife. Wakehurst is also home to the world's largest wild seed conservation project, the Millennium Seed Bank.

Today we head to the Bluebell Railway to enjoy a journey through the beautiful Sussex countryside, we then enjoy a visit to Sheffield Park & Gardens (NT). Originating in the 18th century and developed by each subsequent owner, this garden of colour, perfume and sound excites your senses as you enjoy winding paths, majestic trees, ponds and dappled glades. Falls, cascades and bridges are integral to the garden design.

Today we visit Penshurst Place. Built in 1341 and described as "the grandest and most perfectly preserved example of a fortified manor house in all England", the stately home and gardens were once used as a hunting lodge for King Henry VIII, and now feature opulent staterooms that have been showcased in popular TV and film productions. The Solar, Queen Elizabeth Room and Long Gallery to name but a few, contain a collection of beautiful family portraits from across the centuries, antique furniture, skilfully crafted tapestries and much, much more.
