There are seven sandy beaches and bucket loads of seaside charm. Rediscover the joy of having fun together beside the shore. Central Viking Bay boasts children’s rides and beach huts and rural Botany Bay has photogenic chalk stacks.
You’ll find fishermen’s cottages, clifftop walks and independent shops lining unspoilt streets. The town was Charles Dickens’ favourite holiday spot with 2020 marking the 150th anniversary since the authors death. The legacy includes Dickens House Museum.
