Day 1
Departing the local area, we make our way north to Barnsdale Gardens. Home to the BBC Gardeners World programme, Nick Hamilton (son of Geoff) continues the work started by his father. With 39 individual gardens there is something for everyone at Barnsdale. The inspiring range of garden styles and planting schemes have been referred to as 'a theme park for gardeners'. We arrive at our hotel, the 4* Cedar Court, Bradford with time to settle in before dinner.
Day 2
After breakfast we make our way to Harrogate Spring Flower Show. The Show is the first big event in the gardening calendar, welcoming the new growing season with a spectacular celebration of the very best in horticulture. Featuring beautiful show gardens, great shopping, live entertainment and the biggest exhibition by florists and flower arrangers in the country. We depart mid-afternoon and return home.
