January Blues Buster

Day 1

We depart the local area and make our way north to the World of Wedgewood, which is a unique, interactive visitor centre experience celebrating the very best of British craftsmanship. Explore the manufacturing process in the heart of the Potteries, on the guided factory tour. After the tour we make the short journey to the 4* Crewe Hall Hotel, with time to settle in before dinner.

Day 2

After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to Liverpool, where we board a Mersey Ferries River Cruise. Find out lots of interesting facts about the city's rich musical heritage, learn how the ferries played their part in the First World War and hear more about Liverpool's maritime history from the expert recorded commentary, which plays throughout the cruise. Back on dry land we are joined by a local guide for a coach tour of the city.

Day 3

This morning, we make our way to Chester and explore all the wonderful history this city has to offer. To start the day, we enjoy a guided coach tour of the city. Followed by free time you could visit Chester's remarkable Cathedral with Europe's finest example of medieval carvings, the unique 700-year-old Rows galleries of shops, the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain, or the most complete City Walls in Britain. We return to the hotel for the afternoon, to make the most of the hotel's fantastic facilities.

Day 4

We depart after a leisurely breakfast and make our way south with a stop at the National Memorial Arboretum, before arriving back late-afternoon.
