We Finish the holiday with a visit to the tranquil haven of Buckfast Abbey & a journey through Dartmoor to Widecombe-in-the-Moor.

Day 1
Departing the local area, we will make suitable stops on route before arriving at the 3* Headland Hotel.
DDay 2
This morning, we visit the seaside town of Teignmouth with its Georgian high street. The town beach is a long expanse of sand with a pier, arcades and promenade, whereas the river beach is full of beautiful fishing boats and has a wonderful quaint village feel. This afternoon we visit Dawlish a traditional seaside town, with a wonderful golden sand beach on its doorstep. The town offers a range of amusements and is centred around The Lawn and Brook, which is home to the famous black swans.
D, BDay 3
Today is your chance to explore Torquay. Known as the 'Queen of the English Riviera' Torquay is one of England's best loved resorts. Explore the harbour, enjoy a stroll along the promenade or some shopping in the town centre. Relax in and around the hotel and watch the world go by.
D, BDay 4
This morning, we discover the postcard-pretty, bustling town of Totnes. With a thriving market and a lively independent shop and café scene unfolding in the shadow of the impressive Totnes Castle. From Totnes we board a boat and enjoy a relaxing cruise through the picturesque Dart Valley. Wildlife abounds in the estuary, and you may be lucky enough to see dolphins, seals, herons, egrets, buzzards and kingfishers. Our cruise concludes at the pretty harbour town of Dartmouth.
D, BDay 5
Today we visit Buckfast Abbey, where we soak up the peaceful atmosphere and explore the beautiful Abbey church. We continue through the Dartmoor National Park; this wild heart of Devon is peppered with moss-blanketed boulders, honey-coloured heaths, tinkling streams and cinematic granite tors. We stop in the picturesque village of Widecombe-In-The-Moor, immortalised in the folk song "Widecombe Fair". The Church of St Pancras, colloquially known as the Cathedral of the Moors in recognition of its 120-ft tower, stands over the village green - helping to make Widecombe one of the most beloved villages on Dartmoor.

We depart the hotel, and with a stop on route, arrive home late afternoon
