Kynren - An Epic Weekend County Durham

Day 1

Departing the local area, we make our way north, arriving at our hotel the 4* Blackwell Grange Hotel with time to settle in before dinner.

Day 2

This morning we have free time to explore the magnificent city of Durham - home to one of the finest Norman cathedrals in Europe and a wealth of history around every corner. We return to the hotel for an early dinner before heading to Auckland Castle for the main event. As darkness falls, prepare to be transported: Kynren - An Epic Tale of England unfolds before you in all its glory, taking you from the Romans to World War II in a jaw-dropping performance of horsemanship, fire, music and spectacle.

Day 3

Today we spend a full and exhilarating day at Kynren - The Storied Lands, where history, myth and legend come vividly to life across a series of spectacular immersive experiences. Watch in wonder as a vast lake transforms into the stage for Legend of the Wear, a breathtaking live show inspired by North East folklore and the legendary Lambton Worm. Marvel at The Lost Feather, as birds sweep, soar and glide through a living landscape of water, mist and light. Be captivated by The Trusty Steed, a world-class equestrian performance blending emotional storytelling with daring horsemanship. Lose yourself in the Victorian Imaginarium's hedge maze, encounter larger-than-life characters and discover the Professor's Imaginarium, and step into the Viking Settlement to watch skilled craftspeople, witness sword fights and even take part in a mock battle. An extraordinary day from start to finish.

Day 4

We depart the hotel and make our way home, arriving back late afternoon.
