Day 1
Departing the local area, we will make suitable stops on route before arriving at the 3* Headland Hotel.
DDay 2
Today we make our way to Plymouth, with time at leisure to discover this naval city, why not take a harbour cruise or visit the Mayflower Museum, Plymouth Gin Distillery, Hoe Park, or the National Marine Aquarium.
D, BDay 3
Today is your chance to explore Torquay. Known as the 'Queen of the English Riviera' Torquay is one of England's best loved resorts. Explore the harbour, enjoy a stroll along the promenade or some shopping in the town centre. Relax in and around the hotel and watch the world go by.
D, BDay 4
Today we travel by coach to Totnes where we board a boat and enjoy a relaxing cruise through the picturesque Dart Valley. Wildlife abounds in the estuary, and you may be lucky enough to see dolphins, seals, herons, egrets, buzzards and kingfishers. Our cruise concludes at Dartmouth where you will have free time for lunch before crossing the River Dart by passenger ferry, ready to board the Dartmouth Steam Railway. The scenery on this picturesque line is breathtaking - from Kingswear we travel through the wooded slopes of Long Wood bordering the Dart Estuary, through the picturesque stations of Churston and Goodrington, and along the spectacular English Riviera Geopark coastline to Paignton, where our coach will meet us for the return to Torquay.
D, BDay 5
This morning, we head to Brixham, with time to explore the small fishing village, with its quaint narrow streets heading up from the waterfront. In the harbour is a replica of the Golden Hind, Sir Frances Drake's ship. Watch the many boats heading across the bay to Torquay and beyond. We return to Torquay for an afternoon at leisure.

We depart the hotel, and with a stop on route, arrive home late afternoon
