Join us for a festive break at the superb Royal York & Faulkner Hotel, Sidmouth, with additional festive fare of mulled wine & mince pies on arrival, a traditional Christmas dinner with crackers, afternoon tea & Christmas cake, and entertainment every evening, including carols performed after dinner on one night.
We enjoy a visit to Ottery St Mary Garden Centre to see the famous Christmas displays, a visit to the Donkey Sanctuary, a heated River Exe boat cruise and time in the historic city of Exeter.

Day 1
Depart the local area with a lunch stop on route, arriving at our hotel in Sidmouth late afternoon. This glorious regency seaside town is nestled into the Jurassic Coast and yet enjoys a largely flat town centre. The highly regarded Royal York & Faulkner Hotel is positioned in the centre of the elegant Esplanade.
DDay 2
Enjoy the day in Sidmouth, or join the coach to the Ottery St Mary Garden Centre to explore their stunning Christmas displays, pick up the latest ideas and maybe a decoration or two! (For anybody who would like to visit the Donkey Sanctuary we will offer an optional trip this afternoon)
D, BDay 4
Today we take a drive to Exmouth to board one of the large heated cruise boats for a trip around the Exe estuary. Enjoy mince pies and mulled wine as your Skipper gives you a live commentary on the history of the area, the beautiful sights and the resident and visiting winter wildlife. As a designated RAMSAR site, the River Exe is one of the top rivers in the country for wildlife and is a feeding ground for several seals.

Today we visit the historic city of Exeter, pre-dating the arrival of the Romans in AD 50, the city's history is rich and long. This is reflected in its fascinating visitor attractions including its unique Underground Passages, magnificent Cathedral, imposing Roman wall and beautiful Quayside. (We expect the Christmas Market to be in full swing on the Cathedral grounds, 2025 dates TBC)

Departing after breakfast we travel home with a lunch stop on route, arriving back early evening.
