History is literally on your doorstep: the stunning location has played host to occupying Romans, a Tudor tryst and even a Civil War army. The grounds contain an ornate Roman mosaic floor and settlement remains. Henry VIII courted Jane Seymour here, and the D-Day landings were planned within the house. England’s last remaining Cromwellian Chapel in a private house is also here, and the property offers many more historical jewels for you to explore at your leisure. All of this comes with outstanding service, delicious food in the spacious restaurant, live entertainment every night, and a host of activities from tennis to air-rifle shooting.
Warner's Turkey & Tinsel Breaks: A recreation of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve in one, this is a festive celebration ahead of the big week itself. Packed with can’t-get-enough-of traditions, think quizzes and ALL the foodie trimmings. ‘Oh yes there is!’ panto, carolling and special shows are also on the menu.
We visit Swindon where you can visit either the Designer Outlet or STEAM the museum of the Great Western Railway, and enjoy a visit to the Cathedral city of Winchester for the Christmas Markets.

Day 1
We depart the local area arriving at our hotel in Berkshire early afternoon.
DDay 2
After a leisurely breakfast we travel to Swindon where we have time at leisure. You can do some Christmas shopping at the Swindon Designer Outlet. With up to 60% off at over 90 designer stores. Or visit STEAM the Museum of the Great Western Railway (entrance at own cost), housed in a beautifully restored Grade II railway building in the heart of the former Swindon railway works. The pioneering vision and engineering genius of Isambard Kingdom Brunel led to the Great Western Railway network becoming regarded as the most advanced in the world. The museum tells the story of the men and women who built, operated and travelled on the Railway.

Enjoy a day at leisure to enjoy the hotel and its activities.
Day 4
Today we visit Winchester Christmas Markets. The pretty wooden chalets are situated in the Cathedral's historic Close, surrounding an open-air real ice rink. All the exhibitors have been hand-picked for their interesting, high quality and unique products, many of which can't be bought on the high street.
Winchester is England's ancient capital and former seat of King Alfred the Great. Popular for its bustling shopping streets the city is most well-known for its eleventh century Cathedral and for the Great Hall, which for over 700 years has housed the mysterious King Arthur's Round Table.
Day 5
We depart Littlecote after a leisurely breakfast and return home with a lunch stop on route, arriving back late afternoon.
